Get Reps: 3-2-1 … contact! How to get your body ready

Well, we’re back to work! Fall is looming, the turf is open and nobody should be taking this time for granted.

This was a spring of lost seasons, isolated workouts, and being glad to have virtual meetings, healthy teammates and coaches, plus plenty of time to work on stick skills. Now, as we return to teams and tournaments, there’s one thing we need to acknowledge -- contact.

Men’s and women’s lacrosse are contact sports. Whether you’re wearing a helmet or goggles, dodging through stick-checks and bodies means you’re due for a few bruises and a little soreness. Don’t let the time off faze you.
