What do you think your mulligan sport is? That is a question I often ask athletes that I work with. If mom and dad did not put a hockey stick, or tennis racket, or golf club in your hand, at which sport do you think you could have excelled?

For me, although baseball, football and, ultimately, college basketball were my primary sports, I later picked up a tennis racket on a whim and swatted the ball around like it was table tennis. It came so easy to me.

With the boom of high school lacrosse across the nation, and specifically from Long Island to Maine, I have seen several remarkable fall, winter and spring athletes forego their other athletic opportunities to play lacrosse at the collegiate level.
