Virginia senior attackman Michael Kraus (New Canaan, Conn.) was selected by Waterdogs LC with the No. 3 overall pick during Wednesday night's Premier League Lacrosse draft, one of five players from the region chosen in the two-round event.
One of those was Boston University LSM Reece Eddy, who was chosen by Chrome LC with the second pick of the second round, making him the first BU player selected in the PLL draft. He and teammate Chase Levesque (Ridgefield, Conn.) were both picked in the third round of the Major League Lacrosse draft last week.
"I think Reece fits right in," Chrome coach Tim Soudan said during Wednesday's broadcast, which aired on NBCSN. "He can handle the ball really well. He can create transition. He's really smart on pass pick down, staying on offense and getting off when he needs to. He's great off the ground and great off the wing."
