Wednesday night’s Premier Lacrosse League college draft will mark the eighth professional draft held in just over the last 14 months.

The PLL Draft, which will air on NBCSN starting at 7 p.m., will consist of two rounds, with each of the seven teams choosing twice. The league is planning to hold a quarantined championship tournament at a site to be determined July 25 to Aug. 9.

In each of the previous five professional drafts, the region has been well-represented, with a total of 24 different New England natives hearing their names called.
