This spring will mark a new era for the Belmont Hill boys lacrosse program.
After legendary head coach Tim Sullivan stepped down from his post in June, the school announced last month that Amos Gilbert (Salisbury, Conn.) would take over at the helm.
Gilbert, who most recently served as the head coach at Steamboat Springs High in Colorado for the past two seasons, played collegiately at the University of Vermont after a standout prep career at Salisbury. He graduated from UVM in 2022.
“You see them from afar as a program that has had a lot of success,” Gilbert said. “When the job opened up, I was really excited to be able to throw my name in the ring and ultimately end up taking over.”
