The call went out for bodies, and the senior captains at Reading Memorial (Mass.) High School were more than ready to heed that call.
After a season that never was, the Rockets were able to pull together some intense pickup games over the summer, thanks in large part to some old friends.
In the process they were able to test their own level of play while finally getting an opportunity to jell with a talented underclass, raising hopes for a big run when the gates would finally reopen to high school lacrosse.
