The Fall Classic wasn’t just a showcase. It was also a tournament, formerly called the Mayflower Classic, held at a separate facility in Taunton, Mass.
The difference was that the showcase was an individual event, and the tournament was a battle royale of the best club teams in the region, with a few from outside the region sprinkled in for competitive flavor.
This week we are going to take a closer look at how the teams played and which players stood out in the ultra-competitive team format. Up first: 3D Lacrosse.
Now, this was an event co-run by 3D, so it had multiple teams in the competition at multiple levels.
