Eric Holden already proving worth as Hobart seeks NEC rebound

Sudbury, Mass., native named to USILA Team of the Week

When it comes to MIAA lacrosse, Lincoln-Sudbury is traditionally among the best. The program captured three straight Division 1 championships from 2015-17 and has won double-digit games every season since 2008.

That success procured college recruiting interest, particularly from Hobart, a Northeast Conference program coached by Greg Raymond. He raves about the Warriors, and the admiration flows back from L-S coach Brian Vona, with three alums on the Statesmen's 2019 roster.

"We just have a real respect for their staff and how they run their program," Vona said. "There’s a lot of culture there that I think we’re trying to also build at Lincoln-Sudbury for the boys. That’s the most important thing that they’re focused on. It’s a natural fit for our kids and we trust the staff."

Of all the L-S grads, perhaps Eric Holden (Sudbury, Mass.) is shining brightest.
