The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association unveiled its preseason coaches’ polls in Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3 on Wednesday, with eight teams from the region represented.
Of those eight teams, five compete in the Division 3 NESCAC, whose Council of Presidents last week cast doubt on whether there will be spring sports, stating that conditions related to COVID would need to “improve significantly.”
Tufts opens the season ranked No. 2. The Jumbos are followed by Williams (No. 5), Wesleyan (No. 10), Amherst (No. 14) and Middlebury (No. 19).
