I love lacrosse — every level, every variety, every version of the game.
Yet, I have gotten to where I think there may just be too much of it.
I realize how sacrilegious that sounds, particularly from a guy who works in the sport at every level from youth to the pros, but it seems like each portion of the game is bleeding off a little bit of the neighboring territory, and that the whole game suffers as a result.
The issue here is not that the primary high school, college and youth seasons all happen at the same time. That happens in football, basketball, baseball and hockey, too.
