Williams to world record: Alyssa Amos Clark’s inspiring feat

Growing up in Vermont, Alyssa Amos Clark played lots of sports and loved lacrosse.

Coached as a youth by her father, with a brother and sister who also played, she helped Mt. Anthony Union High School win the Division 1 state championship for the first time as a junior. The next year, she was an honorable mention All-American and she went on to play four years at Williams College.

But in terms of leaving an athletic mark, nothing she did with a lacrosse stick can match what she’s done these last 2½ months.
