The University of North Carolina men’s lacrosse team will square off against Virginia for the third time this season in the semifinals of the NCAA tournament on Saturday. Both teams have tasted victory against one another and the third match promises to be explosive and memorable.
The top-seeded Tar Heels count among their number enough players from New England to be classified as a faction, and some of the most impactful members of that group play on the defensive side of the ball.
Chief among them are BC High’s own Will Bowen (Cohasset, Mass.), as well as Governor's Academy utility man Cam Macri (Hamilton, Mass.).
