Eliza Bresler (Newton, Mass.) made Bentley University women’s lacrosse history following the 2019 season when she became the only first-team All-American selection in program history.
Nearly two full years later — including last year’s coronavirus-shortened season and the completion of her undergraduate business studies at the school — she’s returned to campus less than four miles up the road from where she played her high school lacrosse at Newton North determined to make a little more history before she walks off the Waltham turf for good.
The Northeast-10 Goalie of the Year while playing all 1,036 minutes of Bentley’s games her junior year, Bresler was intent on adding to her legacy last spring in what she assumed would be her final few months with the Falcons.
