One of the top uncommitted long-stick midfielders in the region has finally picked his destination. Ben Baroni has chosen Villanova for his college lacrosse after his graduation in 2022.
The rising senior from Governor’s Academy will join the Wildcats with the hopes of becoming the next great LSM to matriculate in Pennsylvania. The men’s lacrosse program has produced some of the finest LSMs in recent memory like Brian Karalunas, John LoCascio and John Moderski.
The choice to go to Villanova wasn’t easy, as Baroni (Portsmouth, N.H.) was pursued heavily by perennial Division 3 contender Tufts as well.
