The Independent School League is back in action.
Not all of the league’s 16 boys teams are on the practice field yet after a year lost, but several are. Powers St. Sebastian’s and Noble & Greenough were the latest, taking to the field this week.
On the eve of the first ISL season in two years, we asked the league’s 16 coaches to each identify the one opposing player who impresses them the most and why.
The result? Thirteen different players named -- from 10 different schools -- including one Notre Dame-bound defender who was named three times. Twelve other players were each named once.
