The first wave of Class of ‘26 recruits has passed, so it’s a good time to take a closer look at some local club teams with players on the precipice of a commitment.
The recruiting journey is rarely over in the first two weeks of the window, and top-tier talent is not limited to the first month — or even the second month. Fall tournaments are on the way, which means the second wave is nearly upon us.
Laxachusetts has had a lot of its ‘26 players make their commitments already -- 10, to be exact -- so college coaches are very much aware of their talent pool.
In fact, I’ve had to rework this list twice since I started it because two of the players I was writing about made their commitments last week.
