There is still a fairly long way to go until the high school lacrosse season.
But this past Sunday got me thinking about spring.
I covered Road to Prep’s Battle Ground showcase, a one-day event that featured 18 prep and high school teams and an action-packed slate of lacrosse.
That’s right, high school squads playing together in fall. It’s a somewhat rare occasion, and I gathered a lot of standouts and takeaways from the well-run event.
It’s still too early to start diving into preview content for the upcoming scholastic season. At least while there are still leaves on the trees. But there’s one aspect of high school lacrosse that is timely for where we are in the calendar.
There were a lot of committed players at this past weekend’s event. It got me thinking: Which prep teams will boast the most commits this prep season? For the purpose of this exercise, I’m including both ‘27 and ‘28 commits shown in our recruiting trackers. As always, if you have a commitment to report, please send all additions to Jason Cooke at jason.cooke@seamansmedia.com and include: name, hometown, position, college, high school/prep school, class year, club team.
I’ll look at MIAA commitments in a separate story. Let’s dive in.
