Five years after the Boston Cannons traded Paul Rabil to the New York Lizards for Max Seibald in a move that shook the landscape of Major League Lacrosse, the MLL’s original club pulled off what could be another franchise-altering day of deals on Feb. 21.
Within hours, Boston acquired three of the top offensive players in the MLL as it brought in a combined 92 goals, 59 assists and 151 points in trades for midfielder Bryan Cole, and attackmen Randy Staats and Bryce Wasserman in deals with the relocated Philadelphia Barrage and Connecticut Hammerheads franchises.
