St. John's Prep (Mass.) senior Jimmy Ayers and Medfield (Mass.) junior Kelly Blake are both on U.S. Select Teams at the Brogden Cup.
Some of the top high school lacrosse players will gather in Sparks, Md., this weekend for the annual Brogden Cup competitions, which will run in conjunction with USA Lacrosse’s Fall Classic.
In all, 18 boys and girls from the region will be playing on U-18 or U-16 USA Select teams that will battle select teams from Ontario and the Haudenosaunee on Saturday and Sunday.
Additionally, the men’s and women’s U.S. National Teams will be in action, competing against reigning NCAA Division 1 champions Maryland and North Carolina, respectively.
