After a short, but hard-fought, regular season, the New Hampshire boys state playoffs are moving on to their final rounds.
This weekend, the quarterfinals culled the herd down to four teams in each of the three divisions as programs new and old stayed alive.
Teams in all three divisions played a grueling home-and-home schedule for the entirety of the regular season, with a few exceptions, in an effort to control possible COVID exposures.
As a result, some teams will have played each other three or even four times, making the playoffs the ultimate proving ground. The championship games will be played on Saturday.
