What really matters when choosing a lacrosse camp to attend

Most of us in youth and high school lacrosse should be right smack in the middle of our seasons by the time you are reading this.

Our players are in better physical shape, and stick skills should be much more dialed in, now than in the preseason, and our teams hopefully are building chemistry. As much as we enjoy this time of year, we need to look ahead toward planning for summer lacrosse camps.

As this issue demonstrates, there are a ton of great options out there to choose from. Below are some suggestions on how to evaluate camps, and some questions you should ask camp directors — as well as your children — as you make your decision.
