The results from this past weekend could feel like a wet slap in the face if you’re a fan of local Ivy League teams. All three Ivies that were in action on Saturday fell to conference opposition.
If you’re looking for more clarity about the final spot in the Ivy League standings, you will need to wait another week. Brown and Dartmouth, both at 1-4 in conference play, have been eliminated. Next week’s game between Harvard and Yale will determine which school will get that coveted fourth spot.
In the NESCAC, things are similarly clear -- the top spots are spoken for. The final playoff lineup is still to be determined going into the final week of regular season.
