Weekend Roundup: Foley’s big day, Freshmen step up, Fairfield wins big

Top 11 storylines with a New England focus

Another weekend of college lacrosse has come and gone, and thus the plot continues to thicken.

Some of New England's teams won big, while others left results on the table and were lift kicking themselves over what unfolded. Outside the region, some of New England's top players turned in memorable performances for top-20 clubs.

Of those mentioned below, eight are from Connecticut, five call Massachusetts home and one is from New Hampshire.
