With April lacrosse officially here, some conference favorites are beginning to emerge from New England's ranks.
Fairfield looks a serious contender to defend its perch atop the MAAC, while Boston College keeps making quick work of any and all challengers the ACC tosses its way.
There's also UMass to keep a watchful eye on in the Atlantic 10, as they've simply dominating that space under head coach Angela McMahon. Bryant is always in contention to win the Northeast Conference, even if their non-conference schedule brings about ups and downs. And one would be foolish to count Vermont and New Hampshire out of America East contention.
