Across New England's Division 1 women's lacrosse landscape, it was a weekend of firsts and statement victories.
The only teams that had the weekend off were Central Connecticut State, Fairfield and the University of Vermont, so there's plenty to break down when taking a spin around the region.
It was also a Saturday to remember for several Ivy League and Patriot League teams, while the nation's No. 1 team kept the good times rolling with another smile-filled day in Newton, Mass.
