College lacrosse is back.
On Saturday, for the first time since last March, NCAA games that counted were played -- two of them. Fifth-ranked Denver edged Utah, 9-8, in the main attraction, hours after Bellarmine took down Mercer, 9-7.
It was proof to players, coaches and fans that there will be Division 1 seasons this spring, even if it might be too early to know what shape these seasons will take.
