The 2019 season is in the books, with a quartet of NESCAC teams all tasting glory at one point.
Wesleyan entered as the defending national champion with the pieces in place to take a crack at repeating. Williams rode the best campaign in program history to a spot in the NESCAC final and NCAA Final Four.
Tufts cemented its status as the league’s alpha dog, winning the NESCAC tournament for the ninth time in 10 seasons. And Amherst was the last team from the region standing at the end, advancing all the way to the national title game before getting tripped up by Cabrini.
So, with 2019 accounted for, let’s take a way-early look at what 2020 may bring, with all four of those programs sure to play major roles in the drama.
