We are continuing our recap of the summer tour with the face-off men.
This position has become one of the most heavily recruited and competitive slots in the game. The last few years have seen a plethora of players from the region succeed at the collegiate level.
Face-offs are a microcosm of the game within the game trope -- but the advancement of training that position has advanced to a point where the layperson will have trouble identifying the best of the best.
So, this was one of the more difficult spots to fill. Not because there was a dearth of candidates, but because the pool was so very deep. We’re collecting the best, though so we’re going to throw up some familiar names. We’ve got committed players and players that are on the verge of being committed this month all over the place.
