There are 200 players who made the opening day rosters of the eight Premier Lacrosse League teams.
The league is kicking off its third season at Gillette Stadium on Friday, following an offseason that saw it “merge” with Major League Lacrosse and absorb a rebranded Cannons LC as its eighth team.
Gillette will host five games this weekend, beginning with Cannons LC taking on Redwoods LC on Friday (7 p.m.). Saturday will see Chaos LC vs. Whipsnakes LC (5 p.m.) and Atlas LC vs. Archers LC (7:45 p.m.).
Sunday's slate has Cannons LC vs. Waterdogs LC (1 p.m.) and Redwoods LC vs. Chrome LC (3:45 p.m.).
