There are certain coaching positions that seem synonymous with their current head coaches. In many ways, UMass is Greg Cannella, and vice versa.
But assistant coaches? Assistant coaches switch sides like arms dealers -- it’s the nature of the job. The work rate is high and the reward is more spiritual than financial in many cases.
