Connecticut high school lacrosse season is right around the corner and the FCIAC is once again loaded with top-tier talent and high-level Division 1 commits.
While the power conference tends to steal the CT headlines, the game has grown significantly elsewhere in the state, as other schools try to close the gap. The nation’s No. 1 recruit a year ago, Matt Jeffery, played outside the FCIAC at Cheshire High School, a testament to programs like Cheshire that have long invested in youth programs and growing the sport locally.
The non-FCIAC talent shouldn’t sneak up on anyone, but here are three players in particular to keep an eye on this spring.
Players are listed with class year, position and school.
