College lacrosse has gotten off to a great start in 2023. Across all conferences and divisions, one area continually producing and housing high-caliber talent is New England.
From the developmental programs that work tirelessly to grow the current high school talent in the offseason, the coaches all over are passionate about growing their local pool of players, so that they can be successful on their travel/school teams and eventually have the opportunity to get recruited to play collegiate lacrosse.
Within New England, it’s hard to ignore the players that come out of the Independent School League.
The ISL is comprised of 16 preparatory schools and has been around since 1948, and has built a strong culture of developing athletes who perform at a high level both athletically and academically.
