The Patriot League is one of the most competitive leagues in all of Division 1.

It is rich with tradition and has a parity that other leagues envy. With Holy Cross and Boston University as local members, it’s also a league that is desirable to homegrown players.

The 2021 season saw multiple teams angle for the league title, but ultimately the championship was canceled due to COVID concerns.

Loyola and Lehigh still made the NCAA tournament, but the loss of a true title holder is an echo that everyone will try to avoid in 2022.
