The third weekend of the season in Division 1 men’s lacrosse sees five of the region's teams in action (Boston University, Bryant, Merrimack, Providence and Sacred Heart).
Among the 12 teams from the region that are playing some sort of a season (four others compete in the Ivy League, which announced Thursday there would be no spring league competition or championships) are a collection of excellent players, some still in the early stages of their college careers and some returning for a fifth year and one last chance at achievement.
We'll miss seeing players like Dartmouth goalie Danny Hincks (Newtonville, Mass.), Yale defender Chris Fake and Brown faceoff specialist Matt Gunty this spring. But don't overlook these guys.
