On a team with strong New England ties, two players who celebrated afterward were midfielder Sarah Bullard (Needham, Mass./Buckingham, Browne & Nichols) and goalie Devon Wills (Dartmouth), co-captains who closed out their World Cup careers with a third goal medal after the United States beat Canada, 10-5, in a rainy final at Surrey Sports Park.
