BELMONT, Mass. — For the second year straight, the boys from Noble and Greenough are champions of the Independent School League.
In a championship game rematch on Sunday with ups and downs for both second-seeded Nobles and fifth-seeded Governor’s, Nobles pulled away down the stretch to record a 14-10 win.
In the process, the Bulldogs became the first program to repeat as ISL champions since Belmont Hill in 2016 and ‘17.
Nobles beat Governor’s 16-8 in last year’s tournament championship game.
