For the second straight season, Boston College standout Charlotte North has been named the Tewaaraton Award winner, given to the nation's best men and women's lacrosse players.
North is the first player since Taylor Cummings of Maryland (2014-16) to collect the prestigious honor in back-to-back seasons, while it's the third time in five years that a BC player was named the best player in lacrosse (Sam Apuzzo).
North, a Dallas native, crafted another stellar season, leading BC with 92 goals, a personal-best 115 points and 139 draw controls. She was third in D-1 in goals, fourth in draw controls and fifth in points.
She posted 16 hat tricks, and had eight games with at least five scores. North was one of two players in the country with at least 90 goals and 100 draw controls this season.
