On the heels of Brown University lacrosse teams petitioning for the Ivy League to hold spring seasons, the seniors on the Tufts men’s team have reached out in similar fashion to the New England Small College Athletic Conference.
A recent letter addressed to the NESCAC Council of Presidents and Administrators outlines concerns that the league has taken no steps toward holding spring sports seasons and that it is running out of time to do so.
“It was disappointing to hear that the NESCAC might be moving towards the direction of cancelling the spring season,” read the Tufts letter. “We are asking the NESCAC leadership to do everything they can to make this season a reality.”
