Transfer system: Area’s stars find new college homes

Even without the games, it’s been a busy spring in college men's lacrosse.

The last several weeks have seen a flurry of transfers with ties to the region, both graduates seeking the right fit for a final season and others whose hand was forced.

Start with Brett Tenaglia (New Fairfield, Conn.). The leading scorer as a freshman at Furman this spring (11 goals, nine assists) was left without a team when the university announced plans last month to disband the men’s lacrosse and baseball programs.
