Two of the latest lacrosse transfers from the region are headed to Philadelphia.

Villanova head coach Mike Corrado and his staff announced earlier this week the addition of graduate transfer and short-stick midfielder Jimmy McAfee from Amherst College.

Meanwhile, goalie Shana Hecht is moving from Sacred Heart, where she was a two-time NEC Rookie of the Week, to Temple. She has two years of eligibility remaining.

"I am so excited to become part of the Owl family," Hecht said. "I chose to join the Temple community because of the legacy, the competitive athletics program, strong academics and being located in the beautiful city of Philadelphia.”
