The first summer Nic Boudreau played on a club team was as a sixth-grader with a collection of other players from the state of Maine.
He remembers some of the results, a 21-1 loss to Igloo out of Long Island and a 19-0 loss to Team 91.
“It wasn’t the greatest first taste ever,” he recalled.
But from that first summer, something was building for Boudreau (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) and some of his teammates. His career reached a significant peak last month when Yale coach Andy Shay offered him a spot in the Class of 2026 and he committed to the admissions process.
