Top 10 goalies to watch for in prep and high school lacrosse

With a glance across the college lacrosse landscape, it quickly becomes apparent that New England prep and public school programs have long produced top goalies.

Phil Goss, an All-American at Brown, attended prep powerhouse Deerfield Academy. Current Virginia freshman Patrick Burkinshaw (Madison, Conn.), a former Brunswick School star, was just named ACC Defensive Player of the Week. Current Duke starter Turner Uppgren is a former star at Choate Rosemary Hall.

The list goes on and on.

Now, who could soon join them as elite NCAA goalies with roots in New England? To answer that, New England Lacrosse Journal has highlighted 10 on-the-rise shot stoppers who have already proven their worth and then some. They're bound to turn heads throughout the 2019 season.
