What’s home-field advantage worth at the top of the NESCAC?

Just enough, apparently.

Two battles between contenders on Saturday went right down to the final moments. Both ended with the home team escaping with the win.

When the dust from the first week of April settled, every league team had at least one loss and five teams – Bates (6-1), Amherst (5-1), Tufts (5-1), Wesleyan (4-2) and Williams (4-2) – were clustered around the top of the standings with two weeks left in the regular season.
