The entire college lacrosse world eagerly awaited what was coming last weekend: an ACC title game rematch between Boston College and North Carolina.
The Eagles, part of the last two national title games, sure didn't disappoint with a 14-8 win. In reaffirming their place as the unquestioned No. 1 team nationally, BC held UNC to single-digit goals for the first time all year.
That's not all that unfolded across New England, though. UMass took two on the road, while Harvard, Brown and Dartmouth triumphed in the Ivy League. Also, Vermont and UNH continue to build off their best starts in nearly a decade.
