The Division 1 two-sport shuffle remains a demanding challenge

By the time Kenzie Kent (Norwell, Mass.) concluded her amazing two-sport career at Boston College in the spring of 2019, she hadn’t just left a permanent mark as one of the greatest athletes in school history, a status that was confirmed recently when she was voted the best BC athlete of the last 40 years.

She’d also provided inspiration for cycles of female athletes in this region and beyond, even as she raised the two-sport bar to a height that most will find unreachable.

In high school and prep school, many of the top players on the lacrosse team are also the top athletes at the school, which paves the way for great success in other sports, or vice versa.
