Even before the women’s lacrosse program began formally recruiting her, Notre Dame was always prominent on Anna Kenney’s radar.
“Notre Dame has been my dream school,” she said. “I’ve been growing up going to football games there with my family, going to campus. It’s been my dream forever.”
Kenney (Hingham, Mass.) joined three of her junior classmates at Thayer Academy by making her verbal commitment this month. Attack/midfielder Brooke McLoy (Hingham, Mass.) committed to Boston College and defender/midfielder Lindsey Wilmot (Hingham, Mass.) is headed to Denver. Midfielder Caroline Kendall (Westwood, Mass.) committed to the admissions process at Dartmouth.
