The five finalists for the men's and women's Tewaaraton Award have been announced, and three players with ties to New England have made the cut.
Yale junior faceoff specialist TD Ierlan, a transfer from the University of Albany, is the sole men's player from New England of the five named. Boston College has two finalists on the women's side, with midfielder Dempsey Arsenault (New Hampton, N.H.) and attacker Sam Apuzzo both included.
They'll all travel to Washington D.C., for the award ceremony on May 30. It will be held at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of the American Indian.
