That the boys lacrosse program at Brunswick School has seven of its juniors committed to Division 1 programs, including to some of the best teams in the nation, isn’t sport-stopping news.
Annually, the New England West 1 power located in Greenwich, Conn., takes the field with some of the best players from Connecticut and Westchester County, and its success reflects that -- three regional titles, in 2014, ‘17 and ‘18. A 16-2 record in 2019 and a No. 10 national ranking.
The question the program is facing now, less than two months before it would normally open formal activities, is what kind of season another talented team will have.
