National championships won’t be the only thing the St. Sebastian’s lacrosse team is after this spring.
Following three straight appearances in the GEICO High School Lacrosse Nationals over Memorial Day Weekend, the Arrows can turn their focus to their league tournament, too, as the ISL has adopted a true postseason format at long last.
Granted, St. Sebs has captured the regular season league crown in two of the last three seasons. But the new twist will not only add even more excitement for the league as a whole, it will help teams focus on growth over the course of a season rather than perfection.
That’s great news for the Arrows, which finished 18-1 and 15-0 in league play in 2019, but were gutted by graduation.
