Another Signing Day is in the books, with dozens of the region’s top prep school and high school seniors confirming their college commitments on Wednesday by signing National Letters of Intent.
According to Inside Lacrosse, three New England programs have next fall’s incoming classes ranked in the top 20 of Division 1. All three are from the Ivy League.
Yale checked in at No. 8 on IL’s rankings of the 75 Division 1 programs. Its two biggest prizes were five-star recruits Leo Johnson from Avon Old Farms and defender Jake Cohen of the Landon School in Maryland.
Brown is ranked No. 11 on IL’s list. Their six four-star recruits include faceoff specialist Dash Sachs of Taft and goalie Andy Demopoulos of Darien (Conn.).
